Microsoft announced a summer presentation and hinted at a secret game

The big online Xbox Games Showcase event will take place on June 9 at 10am PT / 1pm ET / 6pm BST, according to a fresh announcement on the Microsoft website. The event is expected to feature news from Activision, Blizzard, Bethesda, Xbox Game Studios, and third-party partners.

Immediately after the presentation, Microsoft will host a separate broadcast about a certain secret game. Last year, a similar episode was dedicated to Starfield, and this year we will learn news about a «the next installment of a beloved franchise.» Judging by the teaser below, it's a new Call of Duty game.

The event may also showcase State of Decay 3 and a new installment of Gears of War. What definitely should not be expected is Hellblade 2 — the game will be released on May 21.

According to insiders, the new Call of Duty will be subtitled Black Ops Gulf War. The release is likely to take place in the fall.
