Overwatch 2 will lose one of the few PvE modes
The Hero Mastery Gauntlet PvE mode will be removed from Overwatch 2 because players found it boring. Gamers will have time to complete the mode's challenges before the start of Season 11 in June.
In Hero Mastery Gauntlet, players could defend points in groups from waves of enemies, but there were almost no fans of such content. Since its addition in March until today, the mode has not been popular, and Blizzard has decided to remove it. The developers announced this on the official forum:
Note that the new season in Overwatch 2 starts on June 18, so players still have time to complete all tasks in Hero Mastery Gauntlet. The separate single-player mode Hero Mastery will also remain in the game and will be updated with new content.
