A Minecraft fan created a real neural network inside the game
Construction in the Minecraft sandbox has reached a new level — a player with the nickname mattbatwings has created a real neural network made of redstone in the game. His creation can recognize handwritten numbers with fairly high accuracy.
It took two weeks to create the neural network. For it to work, you just need to enter a number with your character in a special field. First, the algorithm calculates the probability of a number in the range from 0 to 9, and then displays the answer on the screen. According to the creator, the accuracy is somewhere around 83%, and the «thinking» time takes about two minutes.
