How to Quickly Acquire Netherite in Minecraft?

Today we'll talk about the most popular sandbox game — Minecraft. We'll figure out how to quickly acquire Netherite. This is a rare material from the Nether. Netherite was chosen because it's stronger than diamond and is the most valuable resource that doesn't burn in fire and lava.

Let's get started: launch Minecraft. If you're tired of playing alone, select a Minecraft server that supports versions from 1.16, as Netherite was added in this version. So, what about the mining process?

Mining begins with ancient debris. This is the ore from which you can obtain Netherite. For mining, you will need a diamond or Netherite pickaxe. If you try to mine the ore with other tools, it won't work, and the pickaxe will break.

First, prepare your pickaxe, then find a portal to the Nether.

Ancient debris is most commonly generated at the Y=15 block height. You can see the coordinates by pressing F3. Descend to this height and start digging a mine.

Be careful, it's very easy to stumble upon a lava lake in the Nether!

Using TNT

Find the classic method boring? Well, there's another way. Bring a lot of TNT, fill the mine with it, and detonate! A spectacular method, but you need to be careful not to blow yourself up.

Fun fact: beds explode if you try to sleep in the Nether. Therefore, a bed can be used instead of TNT.

Using Cheats

We don't endorse it, but if you really want to: you can use X-Ray — a popular cheat for Minecraft, which allows you to see through blocks and find valuable ores. See what it looks like in practice:

We've gathered the debris. Now, you need to smelt them in a furnace, and you'll get Netherite scrap.
