Rumor: Free shooter XDefiant will feature factions from Assassin's Creed and Far Cry
According to data miners, new factions from other Ubisoft games will appear in the free shooter XDefiant in the spirit of Call of Duty. These may include heroes from the Assassin's Creed and Far Cry series.
According to information from a data miner with the nickname Rogue TX, the shooter will feature the following factions:
- Assassins from Assassin's Creed;
- One of the factions of Ghost Recon: Breakpoint;
- GSG9 operatives from Rainbow Six Siege;
- Raiders from Far Cry: New Dawn.
Such conclusions were made based on icons, card names, models, animations and much more found in the game. Most likely, this content will be added to the shooter over the next 12 months. In addition, factions from The Crew and even Rabbids may appear in the game. How this will be implemented is still unclear.
It is assumed that Deathmatch, Capture the flag and Infection modes will also be added to XDefiant, they are mentioned in the game data. It is noteworthy that most of the dataminer's findings have already been deleted due to an appeal from the copyright holder.
