Shooter XDefiant at release attracted more than a million players in 2.5 hours
According to insider Tom Henderson, since its launch, the free multiplayer shooter XDefiant has attracted more than a million players in just 2.5 hours. By comparison, Respawn's Apex Legends took eight hours to reach the same number of users at launch in 2019.
According to the journalist, the launch of the shooter XDefiant became one of the most successful among Ubisoft games. Two days after the start, the project already had more than three million unique players. There were some problems — for example, at the release, many gamers complained about problems with the servers.
Let us remind you that the free shooter XDefiant was released on May 22 after many months of improvements and several transfers. The game is available for PC (Ubisoft Connect), PS5 and Xbox Series X/S users.
