PC version of Black Myth: Wukong will receive Denuvo protection
Game Science has updated the Black Myth: Wukong «souls-like» page on Steam, listing Denuvo as a defense. Let us remind you that pre-orders for the game were opened yesterday.
Probably, the presence of Denuvo partly explains the high system requirements of the game that were published earlier. Many users have repeatedly complained that the protection system records too much data and overloads the processor, reducing game performance.
A new trailer for Black Myth: Wukong was shown during the Summer Game Fest on June 8th. At the same time, pre-orders for the game started. The action game can be purchased on Steam for $60 for the regular edition and $70 for the Deluxe version. For pre-ordering the latter, bonuses are promised in the form of equipment, weapons and a digital collection of the game's soundtracks.
The game will be released on August 20 on PC and PlayStation 5. Xbox Series X/S owners will have to wait — the project has not been optimized for the console.
