August 3, 2024, 09:44 AM
As predicted by The Verge editor-in-chief Tom Warren, the release of the action RPG Avowed has been pushed back to early 2025. Microsoft decided to give players a «breather» against the backdrop of several anticipated projects being released at once.
Avowed was planned to be released closer to November 12, but this information was quickly removed from the Xbox blog. In addition, the game was apparently recently transferred to a new version of the Unreal Engine 5.
Recall that the game will be released on PC and Xbox Series X/S platforms, and will also immediately go to Game Pass.
Earlier, Microsoft announced a list of all the games that will be presented at the gamescom 2024 exhibition in August.
