Jason Schreier denies GTA 6 delay rumors to 2026
Reputable journalist and insider Jason Schreier has denied that he has heard anything about Grand Theft Auto 6 being delayed to 2026. Rockstar Games sources have also denied this information.
A GTA Base employee reported this earlier. According to him, the studio intended to push the release to early or mid-2026. Jason Schreier denied this information after contacting his contacts at Rockstar.
However, he clarified that such a large and ambitious game could very well face a release date delay.
Let us recall that the release of GTA 6 is scheduled for autumn 2025 for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms. The release of the PC version will have to wait.
Before this, Lucia from the sixth part of the crime action game was tried to be recreated in the inZOI editor. And recently, the frontman of the British pop group Heaven 17 criticized Rockstar for intending to buy the rights to his track without paying royalties.
