YouTuber and insider LegacyKillaHD, who previously talked about the length of Grand Theft Auto 6, shared a whole bunch of new data. According to his information, the game will be full of gameplay elements from Red Dead Redemption 2.
Below is a list of the most interesting rumors from the insider:
- The game will get a large-scale open world with a large number of small settlements and side quests;
- The storyline will be shorter than in RDR2, and the leitmotif will be crime and family conflicts;
- The main character of the game is Lucia;
- Jason and Lucia will receive different introductory missions at the start of the game;
- There will be a lot of crazy tasks, some of them directly refer to the Fast and Furious film series — for example, to the chase scene with the safe;
- Corrupt police officers and even Russian gangsters will appear;
- The game will add many gameplay elements from RDR2 (perhaps we are talking about hunting and fishing);
- Gamers will find many mini-games to their taste, including even basketball (though it could have been cut by this point);
- GTA 6 is being developed in a calm atmosphere without crunch.
- LegacyKillaHD dedicated a separate post in the thread to the last statement. According to him, with the departure of Dan Houser, Rockstar employees stopped working overtime. One of the developers allegedly told him that this is the best project in his career, since he no longer faces such high loads.
Recall that the release of GTA 6 is scheduled for autumn 2025, the game will be released on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / S. You will have to wait for the PC port.
