God of War: Ragnarok PC version is now playable without PSN thanks to a mod

An enthusiast has released a mod for the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok, which completely removes the requirement for a PSN account. Now even gamers from countries that are restricted by Sony can legally play the action game.

The NoPSSDK mod consists of just a couple of files, version.dll and PsPcSdk.dll, which need to be copied to the game folder. After that, God of War: Ragnarok will stop asking to connect to a PSN account. The add-on will also come in handy if players experience any errors or problems related to the PlayStation Network.

The PC version of God of War: Ragnarok was released on September 19, but the game was removed from sale in 180 countries due to the need to connect to a PSN account. The project was ranked seventh in peak online among Sony studio games.

Modders recently managed to solve the problem of launching God of War: Ragnarok on video cards with a memory capacity below 6 GB. A little later, the developers themselves removed this restriction.
