Modder Fixes Video Memory Issue in PC Version of God of War: Ragnarok
The fan community quickly solved the problem with launching the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok on video cards with less than 6 GB of memory. Now players can bypass the limitation with an add-on.
Craftsman joon9825, with the help of other modders, released the VRAM Requirement Bypass patch, which «replaces» the graphics processor with the required one. After installation, he advised setting the game to PC specifications for correct operation. However, the patch only solves the problem with the video card memory, so 16 GB of RAM in the system «minimums» is still relevant.
The VRAM Requirement Bypass mod is available for download at this link.
Earlier, the first ratings of the PC version of God of War: Ragnarok on Steam arrived. Alas, but the former Sony exclusive did not receive the best reviews from players. The game also received several useful innovations.
