Psychologists have found out which gamers have the highest IQ

The British portal WhichBingo, together with a team of psychologists, found out which game series fans have the highest level of intelligence. The result was quite unexpected.

For the study, more than 1,000 gamers were surveyed using a remote IQ test. Participants were tested on four criteria: verbal communication, mathematical abilities, logic and visual thinking. According to the test results, the top ten leaders included fans of the following games:

For reference, the average IQ level is considered to be 85–115 points. As the researchers found out, RPGs and strategy-oriented games really do pump up the brain.

Psychologists also compared the level of intelligence with the gaming platform: it turned out that PC gamers have a higher IQ on average with a score of 114.1 points. But when studying the female and male audience of players, it turned out that women outperform men by 2 points.

Earlier, researchers found out whether the difference between 30 and 60 FPS is so noticeable.
