New trailer for police simulator The Precinct released, demo coming soon

Kwalee Gaming has released a new gameplay trailer for their upcoming game, The Precinct, which is being dubbed «GTA for cops» online. The trailer showcases car chases, a skill tree, battles with criminals, and helicopter controls.

Additionally, a demo for The Precinct will be available on Steam as part of the Next Fest on October 14.

The full game is set to release in the fourth quarter of this year. Initially, the developers planned to launch the project in August but decided to delay it to further refine the gameplay.

In The Precinct, players will assume the role of a police academy graduate tasked with maintaining order in the city of Averno. The game is set in a 1980s noir style and features an open world, procedurally generated crimes, the ability to call for backup, as well as a day-night cycle and dynamic weather.
