The final version of the fan-made 4K «remaster» of Batman: Arkham Asylum has been released
Modder GPUnity has finally completed his project to restore Batman: Arkham Asylum. The enthusiast has released the final version of his 4K texture pack for the game, which is designed to update the graphics of 2009.
Recall that the mod has been in development since 2022. Over the course of a couple of years, the fan has improved all in-game textures, pumping them up to HD quality. He also added support for an extended launcher. You can compare the quality «before» and «after» both in the screenshots and in the video below:

Another large-scale remaster modification for another cult game, The Elder Scrolls 3: Morrowind, was recently released. The release date for an extensive set of HD textures for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt was also announced.
