Bad Vices Games studio has released an unusual game called While We Wait Here for PC and consoles, where players must wait for the impending end of the world while staying in a diner.

Players take on the role of a café worker, serving customers and preparing various dishes for them. You can interact with the guests, learning about their fates and their attitudes towards the looming catastrophe.

On Steam, the project has received 98% positive reviews at the time of writing this news.

Among the features highlighted is the non-linear storytelling. For instance, during dialogues, players can try to convince the diner's visitors to find shelter. The game features fully voiced lines.
