Surprisingly, even changing the engine from X-Ray to Unreal Engine 5 did not help S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl get rid of some old bugs. For some reason, one of the bugs familiar to fans of Call of Pripyat migrated to the sequel.

The PC Gamer shared a video with a bug that players often encountered after the release in 2010. Due to collision problems, NPCs cannot lie down normally on some beds — the body begins to sink or rise up. And literally the same bug is in one of the first quests of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2, where players need to find a missing stalker. Recall that S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl was released on November 20 and immediately got into Game Pass. At release, the shooter received mostly good ratings from journalists and players.

Some players have already managed to find familiar characters and locations, sharing screenshots with the merchant Sidorovich and the famous gates from the art for Shadow of Chernobyl. It also turned out that director Ilya Naishuller worked on the cutscenes.
