Publisher Rainmaker Productions and developer G.rev Ltd. have released the old-school action game Ninja Kamui: Shinobi Origins on PC, PS4, and PS5. Previously, the game was only available on Nintendo Switch.
The project is based on the anime «Ninja Kamui,» which was released this year and has a 7.1 rating on IMDb.
The story follows ninja Tsukumo, who discovers that mercenaries from the AUZA organization are planning a deadly attack on his comrades. To combat the enemies, the character receives an experimental upgrade called TYPE 0, granting him new abilities.
The game is a 2D side-scroller but features first-person mode scenes where players will need to shoot using various weapons. The story is presented through comic-style dialogues.
