Creators of Silent Hill 2 remake begin pre-production on a new unannounced game
Bloober Team, the developers behind the Silent Hill 2 remake, have started pre-production on a new game that has yet to be officially announced. Notably, in October, they unveiled the survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn.
In a recent interview, Bloober Team's designer and game director Wojciech Piejko revealed that the studio has two production teams. One is working on Cronos: The New Dawn, while the other is focused on a new game.
Interestingly, Bloober Team previously announced collaborations with several companies, each for a separate game:
- Project C (Private Division);
- Project M (Nintendo);
- Project R (Skydance Entertainment).
It remains undisclosed which of these projects has entered pre-production. Details might emerge at The Game Awards 2024 ceremony, scheduled for December 13.
Bloober Team is primarily known for their horror games. In addition to the Silent Hill 2 remake, they have developed titles such as Layers of Fear, Observer, Blair Witch, and The Medium.
