Forza Horizon 4 Removed from Sale on Steam and Microsoft Store

As promised back in the summer, the racing simulator Forza Horizon 4 has been removed from sales. Now a copy of the game cannot be purchased on official platforms.

As reported by the Playground Games studio, such measures had to be taken due to the expired license. Against this background, the game even experienced an impressive jump in online to 48 thousand players on Steam, which became a real record for the project.

Today, sales of Forza Horizon 4 on Steam and the Microsoft Store officially ended. Fortunately, no one will remove the project from players' libraries, as was the case with The Crew from Ubisoft. All purchased copies of Forza Horizon 4 are still available for play, including multiplayer and co-op.

Meanwhile, news has emerged about the closure of another game. The servers of the free shooter XDefiant from Ubisoft will be turned off in June 2025 — the project has not managed to gain a large audience.
