Skyrim's Dawnstar Realistically Recreated in Unreal Engine 5
Another city from The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim has been ported to the new version of the Unreal Engine 5 engine. YouTuber Leo Torres has recreated Dawnstar in a scaled form, recreating all the recognizable landmarks.
In the original, Dawnstar is the northern port city of Skyrim and is easily remembered by the nearby lighthouse, pier, and ships. In addition, a little further away you can find another branch of the Dark Brotherhood — the artist did not forget about it either. But there is no Mythic Dawn Museum, since it only appears with a certain choice in the quest Pieces of the Past.
The new work is a kind of remaster of the old project — two years ago, Leo Torres already ported Dawnstar to Unreal Engine 5.3 in honor of the game's 11th anniversary. According to him, he was limited by technical capabilities at the time, but now he has managed to remake the model with a higher resolution, increased scale and improved resources.
A new version of the fan plugin was previously released for Skyrim, which significantly improves the graphics in the game.
