New Version of Fan-Made Graphics Plugin Community Shaders Released for Skyrim
This year, The Elder Scrolls 5: Skyrim turned 13 years old, but the fan community is not going to abandon the game in favor of new products. The Community Shaders 1.0 plugin was recently released, which is capable of taking the RPG graphics to a whole new level.
The mod is an open-source module for SKSE for advanced graphics modifications for the Anniversary Edition, Special Edition and VR versions. This is a rich toolkit with physics-based rendering, improved reflections, terrain shadows, a completely new lighting system, increased draw distance, built-in DLAA support, improved shadow rendering and other graphics features. You can see the result in the screenshots below:
You can download the Community Shaders 1.0 plugin from this link. To run it, you will need the add-ons Address Library for SKSE Plugins, Auto Parallax, SSE Engine Fixes, and Skyrim Special Edition version no lower than 1.5.97. For a truly outstanding picture, you will need to install a few more third-party graphic mods.
Earlier, an enthusiastic developer completely transferred Skyrim to the Unreal Engine 5. The demo version of the project is already available for download.
