Cyberpunk 2077 Developer Asks Players What They Missed in Patch 2.2
Although CD Projekt RED swore that support for Cyberpunk 2077 was over, at the end of the year the game received a major patch 2.2 with new features, car paint jobs and an additional quest. And it looks like that's not all — CDPR decided to ask the audience what they missed.
After the release of the update, Cyberpunk 2077 lead quest designer Pavel Sasko asked the players to tell us about their wishes:
My dears, for my own education, could you let me know what is missing for you the most in character creator expanded in Update 2.2?
— Paweł Sasko (@PaweSasko) 27 декабря 2024 г.
A lot of you mentioned limbs (arms and legs), and hairstyles -- anything else that would make you a one happy Night City gonk? https://t.co/ElN0rm6pyB
The comments listed several desired features at once, including new cyber implants like Maelstrom's eyes or Johnny Silverhand's hand as a legendary quest reward, tattoos and facial features, different body types, new hairstyles and other cosmetic improvements. However, Pavel Sasko's question seemed to apply to the game as a whole. That's why some fans have asked for a New Game + mode, a romance with Goro Takemura, more NPC variety, and mod support.
It's unclear whether there will be a new patch with the content listed by players. Perhaps CDPR decided to test the waters before actively developing the sequel, which won't start anytime soon.
Earlier, players compared frame-by-frame how Cyberpunk 2077 has changed in the four years since its release. And recently, a collaboration with Fortnite was launched, where skins for V and Johnny Silverhand appeared.
