After Eight Years, Popular Open-World Racing Sandbox My Summer Car Leaves Steam Early Access
The popular open-world racing sandbox, My Summer Car, has exited early access, eight years after it first became available on Steam. The game currently boasts a 94% rating, based on 77,000 reviews.
Developers have announced that they will continue to support the game with various patches addressing important fixes. However, no significant new features are expected.
Instead, the creators are focusing their main efforts on the sequel to My Summer Car, which is already in active development.
My Summer Car is described as a car ownership simulator. Players not only roam the open world in search of adventure but also engage in car repairs and tuning. The game includes random events, rally races, and a permadeath feature.
My Summer Car can be purchased on Steam for $12,29, with an 18% discount available until January 15.
