Dino Crisis Spiritual Successor Will Not Come To PC Due To «Vulgar» Sexualized Mods
The fantasy of some modders convinced TeamKill Media to release its new project Code Violet only on PlayStation 5. At least, this is the explanation the developers provided in response to players' questions.
The other day, the creators of Quantum Error and Son and Bone announced another horror game with dinosaurs, Code Violet. Many people were terribly reminded of Dino Crisis from Capcom, so the game was quickly dubbed the «spiritual successor». The main character of the action is Violet Sinclair, who must unravel the secrets of a bioengineering complex and fight many monsters, including prehistoric lizards. The first trailer can be seen below:
The catch is that the project will only be released on PS5, although before that, TeamKill Media released some projects on Steam (like Son and Bone). Moreover, as the DSOGaming portal noted, the trailer used footage recorded on a PC.
Why won't the game be on PC? The developers from TeamKill Media responded as follows:
For those asking us about a PC version of Code Violet… the reason we are not bringing it to PC is we do not want anyone modding vulgar versions of the main character as well as other characters in the game.

As for Code Violet, its release will take place in July of this year. The game has already received a page in the PlayStation Store.
