New Gothic 1 Remake Footage Featuring Nameless Hero Released

The developers from Alkimia Interactive reminded fans about the upcoming release of Gothic 1 Remake. The studio has published new footage from the game and supplemented the project description on Steam with details.

The GIFs show the Nameless Hero himself, who is fighting a lizard on the shore. Other animations demonstrate the beauty of the Valley of Mines under a magical barrier, Torus, a view of the tower in the Old Camp and the probable place of the main character's splashdown at the very beginning of the game.

The Steam page also acquired an extended annotation. Alkimia Interactive once again emphasized that the project is an exact remake of Gothic 2001, but with improved mechanics and modern technologies. They also mentioned the key elements of the game — three factions, a large-scale world for 50 hours of play, a dynamic and living environment, as well as a branching plot.

Gothic 1 Remake will be released this year on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S.
