Red Dead Redemption 2 Breaks Its Own Record on Steam

The cowboy action Red Dead Redemption 2 from Rockstar Games breaks online records — the project has crossed the mark of 86,000 players. The success was achieved thanks to a large sale of the developer's games.

According to SteamDB data, at the time of writing, more than 86,600 gamers are already playing RDR 2, and the number is constantly growing. The last time the online peak was updated was in 2023 — then the number reached 73,000 players.

Now the basic version of Red Dead Redemption 2 can be purchased on Steam at a 75% discount for $ 15. The Ultimate Edition has also dropped in price by 80%, and a set of two RDR parts will cost half price. The promotion is valid until February 6.

The sale affected all Rockstar Games projects. For example, Grand Theft Auto 5 is now 63% cheaper, and the entire GTA: The Trilogy — The Definitive Edition is 60% off.

Earlier, one of the developers of Red Dead Redemption 2 revealed a secret of the game that only 1% of players guessed.
