Rumor: Sony Not Interested in Porting Demon's Souls and Gran Turismo 7 to PC

The IconEra forum has information about the development status of PC ports of Demon's Souls and Gran Turismo 7. Bryank75, who reported the release of Returnal on a new platform in 2022, spoke about the cancellation of the projects.
According to him, the leak came from one of the trusted forum members. The Gran Turismo 7 port was allegedly in development, but was postponed indefinitely and probably closed. A PC version of Demon's Souls is also not in Sony's plans:
We have it on good authority that Demon's Souls is not currently being ported to PC or any other platform for that matter. Meaning that it may never go to PC and certainly looks like it won't be this generation at least.
Recall that in 2020, Sony released a remake of Demon's Souls exclusively for PlayStation 5, which received high marks from critics and players. In January 2024, there was a rumor that the publisher was preparing several projects from internal studios for release on PC — the leak was confirmed for The Last of Us: Part 2, Ghost of Tsushima and God of War: Ragnarok.
Yesterday, the PC port of Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was also released. The project received «mixed» reviews on Steam due to poor optimization.
