First Creature from Valheim's New Biome Revealed

Iron Gate Studios has released a new series of developer diaries, revealing some details about the next Valheim biome. This time, the creators showed the first creature of the Far North — too cute to hunt.

In the frozen lands of The Deep North update, Vikings will encounter seals. It seems that the animals will look different from each other depending on their quality. For example, gamers will receive more resources from a horned and spotted seal than from a regular one.

Recall that the Valheim developers have chosen a special approach to teasers for the update. This time, they decided to tell about it through story videos about the journey of a girl Hervor Bloodtooth to The Deep North, starting with a first look at the snowy shore and the northern lights. Each episode contains a little information about the upcoming biome.

There is no release date for The Deep North update yet. The update will add the last biome for Valheim — it is expected that after this, the game will leave early access.
