Half-Life 2 RTX Demo Coming in March — New Gameplay Trailer Released

The Half-Life 2 RTX remaster has not only got a new gameplay trailer, but also a demo release date. Fans will be able to try out the project for free next week.

The developers from Orbifold Studios showed off new footage, comparing the original and the remastered version of the game with NVIDIA technologies. Let us remind you that Half-Life 2 RTX will feature high-poly models, improved lighting, ray tracing, and other graphical improvements.

In addition, on March 18, a demo version of Half-Life 2 RTX will be released on Steam, which owners of the original game will be able to try out. The demo will allow you to visit two locations — the abandoned city of Ravenholm and the Nova Prospekt prison. Let us remind you that the remaster is being developed as a free project, and you will only need a copy of Half-Life 2 to launch it.

Recently, there have been more rumors about Half-Life 3. According to a popular data miner, Valve has reached the final stage of development, although the game has not yet been announced.
