During the Future Games Show, Nightdive Studios unveiled a new trailer for System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster. The video highlights the graphical enhancements made in the updated version compared to the 1999 original.

The remaster boasts features such as mod support, up to 144 FPS, improved character and weapon models, reworked animations, optimized controller support, and the ability to play comfortably on ultra-wide screens.

System Shock 2: 25th Anniversary Remaster is a cyberpunk immersive shooter with RPG elements. The main action takes place in the year 2114. The protagonist awakens from cryosleep aboard the starship Von Braun, only to discover something horrific is happening. The ship is overrun with hybrid mutants and deadly robots, which the character must battle.

"SHODAN, a rogue artificial intelligence, has taken control, and it's up to you to stop her," reads the description.

The release is set for June 26, 2025, on PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. A Steam page is available.
