Bloober Team, known for the Silent Hill 2 remake, has released a developer diary for the third-person survival horror game Cronos: The New Dawn during the Future Games Show, where the developers shared insights about the project.

The game will feature hardcore gameplay;
The protagonist is a time diver;
The setting is an alternate history: an apocalypse in the 1980s;
The apocalyptic event is called "The Change";
Enemies, known as Orphans, are what remains of humanity;
Body horror is a significant element;
All enemies are composed solely of human flesh;
Aliens may be present in the game, but are not yet confirmed;
Primary melee weapons include hand strikes and stomping;
