Helldivers 2 players noticed a strange black hole that appeared on the site of the planet Meridia. Many are confident that the Illuminate faction will appear in the game soon.

The other day, the helldivers received a new order from Super-Earth, according to which they were to destroy the system of the planet Meridia, inhabited by the Terminids. To do this, it was necessary to use Dark Liquid — Illuminate technology with gravitational properties. The order was successfully carried out, but now instead of a planet, a huge black hole has appeared in the orbit of Meridia. Many players identified the sounds coming from it as a modified battle theme of the Illuminate faction.

Since data miners have previously found their models in the game files, Illuminate may indeed appear in the game with a future update.
