Helldivers 2 was turned into Star Wars with the help of mods — video

Enthusiasts from the YouTube channel ToastedShoes decided to change Helldivers 2 with the help of mods, turning the game into a Star Wars shooter. It turned out almost like Star Wars: Battlefront 2.

Players have used a whole host of mods that turn Helldivers into clones, Automatons into droids, and Super-Earth ships into Star Destroyers. The changes concerned only the appearance and did not provide any advantages, so they could be used in multiplayer without the threat of a ban.

The mods were created directly by the author of the ToastedShoes channel. Unfortunately, he has not shared them yet.
