Helldivers 2 has received a fresh patch 1.000.302. According to the update list, the developers have improved balance and fixed several bugs.
Key changes in patch 1.000.302:
- R-9 Eruptor — explosion damage increased by 40, explosion shards removed;
- Fixed issues causing periodic damage weapons to work only for the host;
- Shooting from the plasma «Punisher» while carrying a shield backpack no longer deals damage;
- Players can no longer land on high cliffs in horde mode;
- Various crashes fixed;
- Issues occurring in the social menu fixed. The developers did not specify whether this addresses the widespread issue where PC and PS5 players cannot add each other as friends.
The full list of changes is available here.
Right now, Helldivers 2's rating on Steam is 71%. The game recently became embroiled in a major scandal related to the mandatory PSN account linking, which drowned the game in negative reviews, however, Sony later abandoned the original idea.
