Best Combinations and Builds in Vampire Survivors
Vampire Survivors is an isometric action game where you are tasked with exterminating various unholy creatures. Besides the thrilling gameplay, there's plenty of room for experiments. The chosen equipment changes the damage, attack method, hero speed, and much more. In this guide, we've gathered the most effective builds in the game.
In Vampire Survivors, the main character attacks monsters automatically. Therefore, the player's main task is to wisely choose weapons and support items. If you don't feel like experimenting on your own, use one of the builds we'll discuss here.
If you still don't know how to unlock all the weapon types in the game, be sure to check out this guide.
Combos for Fighting Crowds of Regular Enemies
The build presented below is aimed at exterminating a large number of enemies around the main character. Almost all attacks will be circular, providing a larger radius of monster damage and allowing you to survive for a significantly long time. Most enemies won't even be able to get close enough to hit you.
Primary Weapon:
- Holy Water (Santa Water). Thanks to this weapon, you get an active shield that prevents regular monsters from getting close to you. Holy Water goes well with the Candelabrador and Spellbinder.
- Vandalier (Vandelier). You get this when you combine Peachone and Ebony Wings. This weapon is especially useful in combination with Holy Water (Santa Water).
- Runetracer (Runetracer). Increases the effectiveness of your active shield. Perfectly complements Holy Water (Santa Water) and Vandalier (Vandelier).
Secondary Weapon:
- Axe (Axe). In combination with Candelabrador, it increases the damage of your hero's attacks;
- Cross (Cross). Knocks back enemies, which can be useful in the early and middle stages of the game.
Main Accessories:
- Candelabrador (Candelabrador). Works excellently in combination with the primary weapon;
- Spellbinder (Spellbinder). Like the Candelabrador, it enhances the effectiveness of Holy Water and Vandalier;
- Empty Tome (Empty Tome). Increases your attack speed, allowing the hero to deal more damage per second.
Additional Accessories:
- Crown (Crown). Speeds up experience gain, which is extremely useful at all stages of the game;
- Attractorb (Attractorb). Allows you to collect gems faster, thus speeding up the weapon assembly process;
- Duplicator (Duplicator). Another item that goes well with the primary weapon.
Builds for Boss Fights
With this build, you will deal single hits with high damage. This approach is especially effective against strong enemies and bosses. At the same time, any monster that gets too close to you will receive damage from the active shield.
Primary Weapon:
- Axe. Deals massive damage to your enemies. It's advisable to upgrade it to Death Spiral with the help of Candelabrador.
- King Bible. Creates an active shield that prevents regular enemies from getting close. Upgrade this weapon to Unholy Vespers with Spellbinder.
- Runetracer. A weapon for additional damage.
Secondary Weapon:
- Laurel. Creates a shield around your hero, reducing incoming damage.
Main Accessories:
- Candelabrador. Necessary for transforming the Axe into Death Spiral. Besides, this item increases the power of your attacks;
- Spellbinder. Used to transform King Bible into Unholy Vespers;
- Spinach. Significantly increases the damage dealt.
Additional Accessories:
- Crown. Increases the number of experience points for each monster killed;
- Empty Tome. Increases the speed of projectiles;
- Duplicator. Increases the number of projectiles fired over a certain period of time.
