In the game V Rising, there is a vast array of mechanics that can be quite complicated to understand. To simplify the gathering of resources and useful items, you can recruit enemies and create servants. In this guide, we will tell you all the useful information about servants in V Rising.

Why Do You Need Servants?

Servants are a very useful tool in the game, with which you can solve several tasks at once:

  1. First and foremost, servants serve as guards for your castle. While in the building, such characters will defend it and fend off attacks from any enemies. If you are playing in cooperative mode, be sure to leave several servants at home as guards.
  2. They help gather resources. Using the Throne, you can send servants on raids for minerals or valuable items.
  3. Finally, your castle will look much more alive with real people.

Recruited enemies need equipment and weapons, as their level and combat ability directly depend on it. Do not skimp on gear for servant guards. Especially if you are playing with other real users.

How to Recruit a Servant and Create a Special Coffin

The ability to recruit servants will appear after you upgrade the Castle Heart to the second level. For this, you will need leather.

How to Create a Coffin for a Servant

When the energy supply device is upgraded, you will gain the unique ability Vampire's Kiss. With its help, you can charm any humans and make them into servants. We specifically mentioned that only humans are suitable — it will not be possible to recruit beasts or the undead.

Before going hunting for new subjects, create at least one servant's coffin in your castle. Such an element can be found in the Production — Domination section. The following resources will be required:

  • Plank (16): can be created at the sawmill using wood;
  • Copper Ingot (8): smelt copper ore in the furnace;
  • Greater Blood Essence (1): create a Blood Press and collect at least 4 Pristine Hearts.

How to Get Servants

To use Vampire's Kiss, open the skill wheel menu (key Ctrl) and activate it. When the skill is active, your additional attack will be replaced with a seductive ability (key R).

When looking for a servant, pay attention to the faction and blood quality. These indicators directly affect the bonuses that will be available to this subject during raids. Having found a suitable specimen, fight with it, but do not kill. Leave a little health until there is an opportunity to absorb this character's blood. Instead of absorbing, use Vampire's Kiss and wait a few seconds.

The enemy will be charmed, and all you have to do is escort them to the castle. Be careful, as they can be killed on the way back. Approach the coffin and check the information on this servant. Press Convert to start the creation process and pay 100 units of Blood Essence. A timer will start, at the end of which a servant will appear. Usually, this process takes up to two real-time hours. Everything depends on the blood group, its quality, and the faction of the recruited character.

How to create a Throne and manage servants

The default task of a recruited servant is to guard the castle. You just have to equip the fighter properly. But if you want to use them for gathering resources, ingredients, or useful items, then you will have to build a throne.

To create it, you will need to defeat the boss Quincy, the Bandit King, to get the recipe for iron ingots. This is a serious boss, so we recommend preparing thoroughly for the battle with him.

Resources needed to build a throne:

  • Stone Brick (24): can be made in the grinder from stone;
  • Iron Ingot (16): smelted in a furnace from iron ore. The raw material can be found in the Scourge Iron Mine in the Dunley Farms region;
  • Greater Blood Essence (4): use pristine hearts on the Blood Press to obtain this resource.

Place the throne in any convenient location, equip the fighters, and send them to a suitable region to search for valuable items. You can transfer items and weapons directly to your servant's inventory. The better the armor and blades, the higher the level of the heroes' equipment.

Blood group, quality, and faction. Which servants are best to use

Each resource gathering region differs by certain factors. For successful raids, specific servant skills are required, so recruiting identical enemies makes no sense.

Also, pay attention to the recommended power level in a given region. If you send a weak hero on a raid, at best, they will get injured, and at worst, they will die.

The servant's place of residence plays an important role. It is not recommended to send subjects to explore foreign areas, as you will lose a small bonus to the overall strength of the servant.

Types of blood and bonuses:

  1. Warrior (Military Tactics): reduces difficulty by 100 units during hunts in areas with increased security.
  2. Rogue (Experienced Scout): reduces difficulty by 100 units during hunts in areas inhabited by demons and other monsters.
  3. Worker (Inconspicuous): reduces difficulty by 100 units during infiltration into various settlements (villages and cities).
  4. Scholar (Sacred Resilience): reduces difficulty by 100 units during hunts in areas inhabited by elementals.

Regional Bonuses:

  1. Farbane Woods (Farbane Woods Hunter): increases the amount of materials obtained from successful hunts in the specified area by 20%.
  2. Dunley Farmlands (Dunley Farmlands Hunter): increases the amount of materials obtained from successful hunts in the specified area by 20%.
  3. Silverlight Hills (Silverlight Hills Hunter): increases the amount of materials obtained from successful hunts in the specified area by 20%.
  4. Cursed Forest (Cursed Forest Hunter): increases the amount of materials obtained from successful hunts in the specified area by 20%.
