Best Agents (Characters) in Zenless Zone Zero: Tier List

As in other MiHoYo games, the heroes and heroines of Zenless Zone Zero can be categorized by their effectiveness. In this guide, we will talk about the best and worst of them. Each character has their own strengths and weaknesses, which should be considered when forming a team.

Zenless Zone Zero Guides

All characters in the article are divided into four categories: S, A, B, and C, from the most effective to those who should be taken only as a last resort.

S-Tier Agents

Ellen. The best ice-element attacking heroine. There are many weapons in the game that enhance frost skills, so you can safely invest resources, denny, and polychromes in developing this character.
Lycaon. An excellent tank character specializing in the ice element and capable of stunning enemies. Thanks to his high damage, he can become the main attacking hero in your squad.
Soldier-11. This hero specializes in fire skills. To maximize his potential, you need to include Lucy and Koleda in the team. Their skills blend well with flames.
Grace. The best electro-heroine in the game at the moment. If enemies have a weakness to lightning, choose her.
Nekomata. A character that deals physical damage. There are many weapons and artifacts in Zenless Zone Zero that will enhance her abilities in battle.

A-Tier Agents

Billy. A good alternative to Nekomata. Like the S-tier heroine, he deals physical damage. However, this character is easier to obtain. Keep in mind that Billy acts as an agent who deals additional, not primary, damage.
Rina. A support heroine who will greatly enhance the skills of electro-fighters like Anton or Grace.
Sokaku. An excellent choice for supporting ice-element characters like Lycaon and Ellen. She will enhance their damage, and the effect will persist even when Sokaku leaves the battlefield.
Koleda. The best support option for agents with fire skills, such as Soldier-11.
Enby. Due to electro-stunning, this character can play various roles, from the main attacking hero to an agent dealing additional damage.

B-Tier Agents

Anton. One of the most popular electro-characters in the game, but far from the best. If enemies do not have a weakness to lightning, we recommend building a team around the ice or fire element.
Nicole. A support heroine who increases armor stats for allies and reduces defense for enemies. Relevant in the early stages of the game, but it is definitely not worth investing resources in her development.
Lucy. Another support character. Her skills are revealed only in a team focused on the fire element. In other squads, she is practically useless.
Piper. A kind of analog to Lucy but for heroes with physical damage. She is extremely weak on her own.

C-Tier Agents

Corin. This character's attacks are activated over several seconds, making him immobile and vulnerable to enemy strikes. As a result, he is less effective than almost all other heroes in the game.
Ben. A tank hero in squads focused on the fire element. However, this agent is so weak that his effectiveness on the battlefield is reduced to zero.
