Is There Co-op in Zenless Zone Zero? — Guide to All Multiplayer Modes

Most of the content in Zenless Zone Zero is designed for solo play. However, this does not mean that the project lacks multiplayer modes, which offer users extended functionality for joint activities. Unfortunately, many interesting features and opportunities in ZZZ are hidden behind not-so-obvious explanations that many players simply ignore. In this guide, we will tell you where to find multiplayer modes and how to spend time with other users.

Unfortunately, Zenless Zone Zero does not have a full-fledged co-op mode that allows you to visit other players' worlds and help them with specific tasks. Nevertheless, you can still play mini-games with friends or team up with them for combat challenges. We will tell you how to do this below.

To unlock arcade mini-games, you must complete the prologue of the story campaign. Billy will offer to play with you as a partner. The Godfinger establishment will open up to you. Exit the video rental store and head to Sixth Street to get to the arcade hall. There, two games will be available to you: Soul Hounds III and Snake Duel. After choosing a specific game, you can click on the plus icon to invite your friends. Users also have a matchmaking button that allows them to join other players. Both arcades can be enjoyed by up to four players.

You can access the challenge mode through the virtual reality headset located in the hardware room of the video rental store. Simply put, it is where the main character and their sibling are. Any player can activate the mode to fight the weekly boss and invite friends for joint play. You can only play as one agent, so the parry mechanic will be blocked. It is important to remember that rewards for victory can be received up to three times a week.
