The First Descendant is an engaging game that offers gamers the chance to dive into a world of adventure and battles. However, many are wondering how to quickly level up their character and reach new heights in the game. In this guide, we will look at the most effective way to help you quickly level up your hero and make the gameplay more interesting and rich.

The Best Way to Farm Experience in The First Descendant

The best way to quickly earn experience in The First Descendant is to complete resource defense missions. These are quests that you can unlock by clearing the entire area. This means completing all the storyline quests, unlocking fast travel points, and finishing all the tasks marked as mandatory.

For example, one of the areas that is quite effective for farming experience in the early stages is Kingston. The associated resource defense mission is an ideal way to quickly level up without worrying about finding new quests or spending time trying to defeat tough bosses.

Resource defense missions involve fighting off multiple waves of enemies. Essentially, you are defending an area from enemies that get stronger as you defeat them. Successfully defeating a wave will earn you a lot of experience. The more waves of enemies you can withstand, the more experience, gold, and materials you can take home.

One such mission is the special operation «Kuiper Block», which has no other goal than to defeat waves of monsters. Starting from wave 5, the enemies get much more armor. For the most efficient grind, it is best to interrupt the special operation after wave 4. This will ensure you get the most experience in the least amount of time.

You won't even have to worry too much about dying, as in the case of resource defense missions, you will simply be teleported back to Albion. You can also choose to leave the mission earlier if things are not going well after defeating one wave. Returning to Albion, you can sell or use any loot you have. As the online hub of the game, you can also find teammates for the next waves of enemies to have a better chance of fighting.

Naturally, the more resource defense missions you unlock in advanced areas, the higher your level will be. In the case of Kingston, it is a low-level zone. Do not expect to reach the maximum level, but you will still get dozens of levels without much trouble.
