How to Farm Kuiper Shards in The First Descendant

Kuiper Shards are necessary for upgrading weapon modules in The First Descendant. Although there are various ways to earn gold and experience, farming Kuiper Shards in The First Descendant can be a bit more challenging. This guide will explain how to effectively gather the necessary shards.

Dismantling modules is the fastest way to obtain Kuiper Shards in The First Descendant. The number of shards you get directly depends on the value of the modules, so it's better to dismantle high-level modules.

Void Intercept missions are currently the most reliable way to obtain rare and ultimate modules, as they are considered some of the most challenging tasks in the game. It is recommended to have a well-leveled character and a reliable team for co-op play to successfully complete them.

Modules of all types can also be obtained by completing any missions in The First Descendant. Once you have accumulated a sufficient stock of modules, return to Albion to exchange them for Kuiper Shards.

To dismantle modules in The First Descendant, you need to go to Silicon, located on the west side of Albion, and select the «Dismantle Modules» option after starting a dialogue. Then choose the modules you want to dismantle and confirm the action by clicking «Dismantle.»

As mentioned earlier, higher-level upgraded modules will yield more Kuiper Shards when dismantled. However, make sure you don't accidentally dismantle your favorite modules before confirming the action.
