In these segments, you cannot use weapons, which adds to the difficulty. In this guide, we will explain how to simplify stealth using the available game mechanics.

Stealth is an integral part of the game, and some gamers have difficulty passing the first such levels since, at the initial stage, your capabilities are limited. However, there are techniques that will help simplify stealth. You will need to unlock friendly NPCs and improve your abilities, but if you stop and take the time to explore all available options, stealth will not seem as difficult as it appears at first glance.

Stealth in Star Wars Outlaws is a serious challenge because enemies can easily detect you, and in some missions, the use of blasters is blocked. You will have to rely solely on your stealth abilities and silent kills to pass through dangerous areas unnoticed. Other parts of the game, such as clearing outposts or bases, also require a high level of stealth since your main character is vulnerable and can die very quickly if spotted in the open.

Later in the game, the heroine will become more resilient and able to withstand prolonged firefights, but on the first planet, you will be forced to fight for survival. This is why stealth plays such an important role. Enemies are very unpredictable, there are many of them, and some missions will instantly failed if at least one enemy spots you. It is important to study enemy behavior, use the environment, and maximize your abilities to remain unnoticed and successfully complete missions.

Nix is the fluffy and loyal companion of the protagonist in Star Wars Outlaws. Fully understanding his abilities is a key element for successfully managing stealth. Let's take a look at what exactly Nix can do for you and why you should use his talents more often.

First of all, don't forget to regularly use Nix Vision. This ability allows you to spot enemies on the map before they see you, giving you a significant advantage in any situation.

Sending Nix to distract enemies is another important aspect of his usefulness. You can point to any location, and Nix will stand there, drawing the attention of enemies until you call him back. This allows you to change the enemy's line of sight and attack them from behind. If an enemy starts searching, send your companion to distract them before they spot you. This will make the guards stop and look at the companion. Usually, they will not continue moving towards him but will stay fixed in one place for a while. Moreover, they will not raise an alarm when they see Nix, giving you extra time to maneuver and make decisions.

Nix is also capable of distracting cameras. A camera distracted by the companion will be fixed on him: this will stop its movement and make it easier for you to sneak by unnoticed.

Finally, Nix can be used to eliminate enemies. The Attack command is a crucial element for stealth infiltration. Use this ability to take down enemies silently and without raising an alarm.

Abilities are new skills that you can acquire by completing mini-challenges from individual NPCs. The first contact will be available on the starting planet, but as you progress through the story or explore later planets on your own, you will be able to unlock new contacts. After unlocking a contact, you will see a list of their abilities and the actions required to activate them.

These skills should be unlocked as early as possible to significantly simplify stealth. Many of these abilities can be obtained on Taros, the first planet.

While using Fast-Talking, you can approach the enemy to knock them out with a few hits. If you have blasters, you can also use a Stun Shot. One of the powerful functions of this ability is that you can use it to retreat after being caught and escape, losing the guard's line of sight. This prevents an alarm from being raised.

Note: Early in the game, this skill does not work against Imperial soldiers. If you try to use Fast-Talking, you will be arrested. It only works against cartels and other criminals!

To create a smoke bomb, you will need a Smoke Compressor and other materials. Go to the Abilities tab in the menu and select the necessary materials. A marker on the map will show you the locations for collecting them.

Slicer is the third contact on Tashar, but unlike the previous two, you can easily miss the meeting with her. Mostly, players use her to unlock the improved Slicer Kit ability, but she also has many hidden skills that will come in handy as you progress through the game.

To unlock the Slicer contact, complete the corresponding quest. Find her by talking to an NPC in the bar on the territory of Mirogana, Crimson Dawn. If your relations with Crimson Dawn are not the best, you can secretly infiltrate their territory through the same bar and reach the back room to talk to her.

After that, you will be sent to retrieve an item from a small Imperial outpost. Once you obtain it, you will be directed to a larger Imperial base. Help Slicer sabotage the base and escape to acquire her as a permanent contact.
