Walkthrough of Archon Quests in Genshin Impact: Act 2, Chapter 2. Oblivion, Disappearance of Shadows
In Genshin Impact, developers add new quests with each update that expand the main storyline and allow you to earn various rewards. Archon missions are always divided into acts and chapters. In this guide, we will thoroughly go through the second chapter Oblivion, Disappearance of Shadows from the second act.
How to Complete Stormy Justice
To activate the quest, you must first complete the side missions Whispers of the Crane and the White Rabbit and Dreamlike Timelessness. Once the quest becomes available, head to the tea house where, after a short wait, you will meet Kamisato Ayaka.
The girl will tell you that her friend Thoma was taken by the Tenryou Commission, so she will ask the Traveler to help rescue him. Follow the marker to the ceremony and fight with the Shogun Raiden.
How to Defeat Raiden
The boss fight will not seem easy. The opponent is completely immune to any Electro attacks. Moreover, the girl will use several unique spells with the same elemental damage. It is recommended to choose the appropriate characters before the fight so that the battle does not turn out to be too difficult.
If you stay close to the enemy, the boss will start spinning her spear and attacking the player with a triple strike, so you need to carefully watch Raiden's animation to dodge the attacks in time. The girl also often moves towards the hero and launches an electric wave that hits the character at close range.
Note that as soon as the Shogun puts her hands behind her back, you need to prepare for a powerful attack within a certain radius. At this moment, it is enough to break any of the objects that appear on the battlefield to stop this move. It is also not recommended to move far away from Raiden, as she will release waves that can hit the player.
In any case, you won't be able to defeat the boss, as she will use an instant judgment that will immediately knock out the Traveler. After the cutscene, talk to Thoma and complete the first part of the quest.
How to Complete In the Name of Resistance
The traveler needs to go to Tatarasuna and gather all the necessary information. Leave Narukami Island and follow the marker. To do this, use the transport on Amakane Island or cross the sea using Kaeya's Cryo spells to freeze the water. At the marked point, watch a short cutscene and head northwest to a small river where you will notice two men.
We eavesdrop on the conversation of the fugitives and head to the front line. We find a resistance fighter and rescue him from two guards. Talk to the man, who introduces himself as Teppei, and agree to join the resistance.
The samurai will thank you for your help and take you to the commander, Gorou. Tell him about the incident in the arena and head out to help the wounded soldiers.
Follow the marker with Teppei and talk to the warriors Tokuda and Masashi. To treat the soldiers, you will need to gather materials necessary for making a healing potion. Give the samurai one of the rare items, either Onikabuto or Wolfhook.
It is recommended to provide him with the first item, as Teppei will not be very pleased with the second option. However, both rare items will help heal the fighters. Talk to other samurai of Sangonomiya. They will turn out to be archers and will ask the Traveler to train them a bit. Destroy 20 blue targets in 90 seconds using any archer character. This is very easy to do, so complete the task and watch a short cutscene.
A small Shogun squad will break through the resistance camp, so eliminate all enemies in the indicated area. Part of the fortifications will be destroyed, so grab the materials lying nearby and repair all the structures.
After this, talk to Kaede Ryoma and head to the front. Move to the indicated marker and fight the enemies.
Defeat the Shogun samurai in three fairly simple battles one by one and watch another cutscene.
Talk to Sangonomiya Kokomi along with the entire resistance squad and complete the second chapter.
