S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: New Project Walkthrough Guide
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: New Project is a new story project on the Call of Pripyat engine, created by fans of the cult game series, which takes gamers into the grim universe of the Zone. As in previous games in the series, the game's plot focuses on exploring a post-apocalyptic world where you encounter anomalies, mutants, and various factions. You will have to complete many main and side quests, interacting with the surrounding world and uncovering its secrets. In this guide, we will describe a detailed walkthrough of each mission.
Plans Change — Find a Way Out
Waking up in the basement, reach the end of the tunnel and turn left to see the ventilation.
Climb inside and turn right. In the first accessible area, you can find several useful items. Search all the corpses and boxes. Continue straight through the ventilation and turn right again. Upon exiting into the room with the «Chemical Laboratory» sign on the door, turn right.
Move forward and open the grate. Examine the table to your left to find a flashlight. It is a necessary item here — you'll be able to navigate dark rooms freely.
Return to the door with the «Chemical Laboratory» sign and go right to find a valve.
Now attach the valve in the room where you found the flashlight, to the only missing pipe.
Turn the three valves on the pipes in the following order to shut off the gas supply:
- Central valve.
- Left valve.
- Right valve.
Go right and climb over the boxes. At the end of the corridor is an exit, but it is currently locked. Enter the room on the right, where you will witness a dialogue between stalkers. To the left of them is a key rack — take the key from the second-to-last shelf.
Now go downstairs and use the key on the door to enter the flooded locker room and find a dosimeter. Return back and crawl through the hole leading to the sewer passages.
Be very careful in this area. One wrong move and you could be electrocuted. Do not go into the water under any circumstances: follow the path laid out on beams, boxes, and shelves. Once you reach the tunnel, carefully jump inside and climb up.
Entering the room with the generator, turn left and press the red button to turn off the electrical power.
Here, crawl through the ventilation above to return to the starting point. Descend into the sewer passages again and go to the very end. Use the ladder to the left of the huge bubble to climb up and enter another tunnel.
Before reaching the end, you will see a ladder. Climb it and open the hatch. Search the corpse right in front of the hatch to find the safe key and open the only door with a valve. Once inside, go to the room on the right without a door and proceed to the end of the corridor, where you will find two more doors.
In the room on the right, you will find a safe on the shelf near the control panel. Inside there are 500 rubles, a pistol, and ammunition.
Now approach the control panel and activate the button in the upper left corner. Enter the opened door, kill all the zombies using the found pistol, and climb into the ventilation.
In the same room, climb into the ventilation again and start moving through the holes in the floor on the left side.
Descend and continue carefully overcoming obstacles. Once you descend three times, enter the fenced-off area.
Climb the ladder and move across the plywood above, continuing to climb the ladder. Once on the elevator roof, fall into the open hatch where you will meet an unknown stalker.
Talk to the man and follow him to finally get outside.
