The point of no return in the game is the start of the quest Military Mole. From the moment the mission begins, you will block access to the rest of the Zone and automatically complete all side quests marked in the journal. The main three missions that appear in the endings of Stalker 2:
In this ending, Strelok takes control of the Zone, becoming its rightful master. To achieve this finale, you will need to make a series of key decisions throughout the game.
The first important decision awaits you during the mission Subtle Matter. When Scar catches you using the visiograph at the Orbita station, choose the option Life is given to the living. This action will be the first step towards controlling the Zone.
The next step to get this ending is to complete the quest Dangerous Liaisons. When Korshunov catches the hero, choose Escape to avoid getting a different ending. This choice will prevent the development of an alternative scenario and open the way to the desired denouement.
And the last, key choice awaits you in the mission The Last Wish. When you find yourself in the Red Forest location, you will need to kill the encountered Doctor. This step will complete a series of important decisions that will lead to the desired ending, where your choice will ultimately play a decisive role in the fate of the Zone. This ending is perhaps the darkest, as by reaching it, you will lead to the destruction of the Zone forever. To achieve this finale, you need to support the Varta group, specifically Korshunov.
While completing the story quest Subtle Matter, you will again need to choose the option Life is given to the living. However, in the mission Dangerous Liaisons, which we also mentioned earlier, you will need to choose the response I am not your enemy. This decision will play a key role, as it will lead to joining Korshunov's group, opening the path to the ending where the Zone will be destroyed.
In this ending, Skif becomes the rightful master of the Zone. To achieve this finale, you need to follow the choices related to Strelok's endings, but at the end, you will need to choose a different path, ensuring an alternative development of events.
Once again, while completing the story quest Subtle Matter, choose the option Life is given to the living. Then, in the quest Dangerous Liaisons, when the head of Varta catches you, escape to avoid getting a different ending. Finally, in the Red Forest location, when you meet the Doctor, choose the option Lower your weapon. This sequential choice will lead you to the desired ending, altering the course of events and revealing a unique denouement.
In this ending, Scar enters the capsule, creating a fairy-tale scenario where the Zone appears in a more positive light. It transforms into an idealized version of the city, contrasting with its usual hostile nature. Follow these steps to achieve this ending.
