Assassin's Creed Shadows is a new installment in the series set in Medieval Japan. You will play as kunoichi Naoe and samurai Yasuke. In addition to battles, you need to engage in other activities, such as stealing valuable cargo. From our guide, you will learn how smuggling works here.
Grain, wood, and metal are required for the development of the base. You can find some materials in chests, but this is clearly not enough for full-scale construction. To ensure the hideout has the necessary amount of resources, you will need to engage in smuggling.
While exploring the game's open world, you will discover warehouses with resources. They are marked by a small white barrel. When you are nearby, you will be prompted to send people to collect the valuable materials. It's important that the guys are not engaged in another task at that moment. It will take them time to deliver the cargo.
Note: You can only rob a warehouse if you are not fighting enemies and they are not searching for you. Unfortunately, these buildings are almost always located on enemy territory. Therefore, you need to either completely clear it or remain unnoticed.
To make cargo delivery more efficient, upgrade the stables. At the second level, you can send one smuggler instead of two for material theft, and at the third level, the amount of resources you take from warehouses will increase by 20%. The maximum development of the stables will require 310 units of wood and 110 metal ingots, but you will quickly recoup these investments.
In addition, as new buildings are constructed on your base's territory, additional bonuses will be unlocked. Among them are those related to smuggling.
