Prototype 2 Review

Chaos, destruction, murder — all of this New York had to endure because of Alex Mercer, the first "prototype". But, apparently, the developers of the game Prototype decided that New York hadn't suffered enough and brought Prototype 2 to life.
The new hero of Prototype 2 is not Alex Mercer, but a sergeant of the American army, James Heller, who decided he's the coolest and went against Alex with a knife. Yes, yes, with a knife. From his side, this is a very foolish act. Remember what Alex did at the end of the "first prototype". He just tore and shredded everything in his path, New York trembled even in the most distant corners. And here, some African American man decides to put an end to this and thus turns into the "second prototype".
In fact, James Heller didn't want to be in the "prototype's" shoes at all, so he reacted negatively to such a "gift" from Alex Mercer. And now James desires Alex's death even more, and it will be much easier for him to deal with him, because now he has all the skills and abilities of the "prototype".
The game's plot doesn't shine with anything bright; most of it consists of brutal murders, absorptions, chaos, and destruction. But there are even more monsters in the game, which couldn't help but please gamers around the world. In my opinion, the game's cutscenes didn't particularly succeed. They seem to have some style, but it rather spoils the overall picture than adds color to it.
The graphics in the game are pleasant, but the artificial intelligence of our opponents is simply astounding, in a bad way. Our enemies are a bunch of stupid, deaf, and blind thugs who don't see the approaching threat at all, even though a state of emergency has been declared in the city and an alarm has been raised. The missions in the game are monotonous, there aren't many new moves, but the leveling has become much more understandable and measured, though I wouldn't be surprised if no one pays much attention to it, as the main element that attracts players is the "bloody massacre". Innocent citizens die in droves at the hands of our hero, cars explode one after another, and helicopters crash every five minutes.
The bottom line is — if you want to relieve stress and nervous tension, then we prescribe Prototype 2 for you, but if you want to play something unusual, meaningful, and interesting, then look for another game.
