Sylvester Stallone reveals Rocky prequel details

Iconic actor, director, and 80s action star Sylvester Stallone has revealed new details about the Rocky prequel series. According to the 79-year-old performer, he has already written the first few pages of the script.
The actor shared the details in a recent interview for the Inspire Me podcast. He describes the first scenes of the series about a young Rocky Balboa as something similar to Lady and the Tramp, but with people.
The Rocky prequel is very near and dear to my heart. I wrote a few pages of it, and it just seems to write itself. Seeing Adrienne at 15, Rocky at 17, Paulie moving into a new neighborhood, Rocky's your bad boy. It's almost like Lady and the Tramp, but with real people. It's going to be wonderful.
Sylvester Stallone announced his intention to bring Rocky's backstory to the screen back in 2021. At the same time, he shared the first pages of the script on social networks. According to his plan, several seasons of 10 episodes will be needed to reveal the story of the young boxer. The actor plans to sell the show itself to one of the streaming services.
The latest film in the franchise at the moment is Creed 3, the third film about Rocky's student, Adonis Creed. It premiered in March 2023, and a fourth part is in development.
Before this, Sylvester Stallone told how he received a serious neck injury on the set of The Expendables. And recently, his character from the film Rambo was made the hero of Half-Life 2 in a humorous video.
