James Gunn's Superman Breaks First Impressive Record
The trailer for the reboot of Superman by James Gunn has collected more than 250 million views, becoming the most viewed in the history of DC and Warner Bros. The director and head of DC Studios himself shared this good news.
Let us remind you that the first trailer was shown on December 19. As promised by James Gunn, the film will focus on Superman's humanity — from the very first frames, the video demonstrates the vulnerability of the Kryptonian played by David Corenswet. The trailer also introduced the antagonist Lex Luthor, played by Nicholas Hoult.

The main roles in the film were played by David Corenswet, Rachel Brosnahan, Nicholas Hoult and Isabela Merced. Superman will premiere on July 11, 2025.
