Rumor: Johnny Depp to Return to Pirates of the Caribbean as Disney Prepares for Film Production

It seems Johnny Depp might indeed return in the next Pirates of the Caribbean film. At least, that's what TheDisInsider reports, claiming that The Walt Disney Studios is already gearing up to start production at a Hollywood filming location.

This information comes from an anonymous source who told the publication that Johnny Depp will be involved in the film's production.

As a reminder, Johnny Depp starred in all the Pirates of the Caribbean films, playing the lead role of Captain Jack Sparrow. The last film, Dead Men Tell No Tales, was released in 2017 and grossed $795.9 million with a budget of $230-320 million.

Interestingly, in December last year, the reputable publication Variety also reported that Johnny Depp might return to the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise.
